IT ALL BEGAN WITH A MUM AT BREAKING POINT!

Why did I start with Doterra? The answer, my son, our family's health, our general wellbeing.

The breaking point for me was going to the doc with my son, bright red, itchy and the angriest I had ever seen his skin. The doc of course decided the best course of action was another steroid cream prescribed and BLEACH baths… like pop my boy in a bath with bleach! I left and headed to the chemist so lost and confused, and then came the warning pamphlet that would scare any mum! As I started to read it, one of the first warnings was wear gloves while applying it... wear gloves! But I was going to paste this cream on to my son!

So, we came home, with no cream and me on a mission to find some better options. I googled for hours, and luckily jumping on Instagram at stupid o'clock I stumbled across the beautiful Sara. I had previously read a bit on oils, and honestly, I was skeptical but at that point I had nothing to lose!

My oils arrived, I made a kick arse angry skin balm. I ditched all our soaps and body washes for natural DIY options.... and guess what.... that red, inflamed, itchy skin.... started to disappear. Each day it improved. Each day my boy cams to me with his balm asking me to rub the magic oils on his skin.

Now you wouldn't even know it was ever there. He gets a little flare up every so often, but we nip it in the bum asap before it's even a bother.

From there it continued to change our home, we ditched all the chemical cleaners, made changes in our home to improve our health. Our first aid kit is all natural. We have changed how we source our food to nourish our bodies better. What was first a journey for helping my son is now a complete low tox home life.
